Rohit Kshetrapal, CEO, Board Member
Rohit has spent over two decades founding and building successful technology companies, Tegile being his latest entrepreneurial venture. As President, Rohit led Network Admission Control company, Perfigo, to profitability in its sixth quarter of operation prior to its acquisition by Cisco Systems. He also co-founded Webvibe and Brience (acquired by KPMG and Syniverse respectively). Rohit was national partner for E-Business at KPMG Consulting.
Rajesh Nair, CTO, Board Member
Rajesh serves as CTO and Vice President of Engineering at Tegile, driving Tegile’s technology direction as well as being responsible for product development and delivery. He brings over 15 years of engineering, product development, and management experience to his position at Tegile. Prior to Tegile, Rajesh was CTO and Vice President of Engineering at Perfigo Inc. (acquired by Cisco Systems), the industry’s leading Network Admission Control (NAC) product for 8+ years. Post acquisition by Cisco, he continued to lead the development of Cisco’s NAC Appliance products for over 2 years. Prior to Perfigo, he held senior engineering management and technology positions at Brience (a mobile application platform company) and at Sun Microsystems.
Rob Commins, Vice President of Marketing
Rob Commins has been instrumental in the success of some of the storage industry’s most interesting companies over the past twenty years. As Vice President of Marketing at Tegile, he leads the company’s marketing strategy, go to market and demand generation activities, as well as competitive analysis. Rob comes to Tegile from HP/3PAR, where he led the product marketing team through several product launches and 3X customer growth over three quarters. Rob also managed much of the functional marketing and operations integration after Hewlett Packard acquired 3PAR. At Pillar Data Systems, he was at the forefront of converged NAS/SAN storage systems and application-aware QoS in mid-range storage. Rob is also a veteran of StorageWay, one of the first storage services providers that launched cloud services.
Justin Cheen, Vice President of Sales
Justin is a seasoned high tech sales professional and has built and led the sales team at Tegile from the company’s inception. Prior to co-founding Tegile, Justin led the UCS sales team in the Western U.S. for Cisco Systems, working with data storage partners to achieve market leadership and 200% growth for UCS. He led sales in the Eastern U.S. for Perfigo and was instrumental in the company’s acquisition by Cisco. Justin has also achieved sales success at WebLogic, BEA Systems, and Netscape Communications. He holds a BS degree from UCLA.
Alok Agrawal, Vice President of Customer Engineering
As Vice President of Customer Engineering and Support, Alok is the primary advocate for Tegile’s customers. He leads pre-sales engineering and is responsible for the prioritization of product developments. Before joining Tegile, Alok held a variety of leadership roles in product management, technical marketing and customer support at Cisco Systems. He has amassed considerable expertise in the areas of storage, networking and security throughout a career that spans over a decade in the IT industry.
Vivek Mehra, Board Member
Vivek represents August Capital on Tegile’s board. Vivek joined August Capital in 2003. He invests broadly in IT infrastructure and areas of interest include data center technologies, systems management, security, storage, and cloud computing systems and software. Prior to joining August Capital, Vivek co-founded Cobalt Networks in 1996. As CTO & VP of Product Development, Vivek built the first successful server appliance and grew Cobalt into a worldwide leader in the category, culminating in a successful IPO and acquisition by Sun Microsystems for $2B. At Sun, Vivek served as the Vice President and General Manager of the Cobalt Business Unit and a member of Sun’s Technical Architecture Council. Prior to founding Cobalt, Vivek held a number of technical and management positions at Apple, SGI, and Digital Equipment Corporation and successfully developed numerous products including Internet enabled set-top boxes, PDAs, RISC workstations, and high performance graphics subsystems. Vivek received a BS in Electronics from Punjab University, India, and an MS in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University.
