When trying to mount an NFS/Windows share I receive a “Network Error 53″ or other errors.

Posted by:

Network error 53 indicates the network path cannot be found. This is most commonly caused by a networking configuration error. Check to be sure the proper networking setup is being used and the Windows machine can ping the Zebi share i.p. address. Common mistakes are improper netmask, VLAN, static route, firewall and gateway settings.
