Rohit Kshetrapal is co-founder and CEO of Tegile Systems, where he provides strategic direction, product planning, and market and industry leadership. His goal is to transform enterprise IT by improving substantially the performance and economics of enterprise storage. He is leading the development of innovative flash-optimized storage solutions that provide much better cost/performance tradeoffs for businesses of many different sizes and with varied applications.
Rohit has focused on developing products for emerging Web and network-based enterprises for many years. Before co-founding Tegile, he co-founded and was President of Perfigo, a network admission control company acquired by Cisco Systems (NASDAQ: CSCO). Its product remains a key element of Cisco’s product line and reached an annual run rate of $300M. He also held key executive positions at Brience, a leading mobile software developer, and Webvibe, a developer of application middleware. His approach has been to start with small, seasoned entrepreneurial teams and create innovative products that offer unmatched value to customers. He earned an MS and BS in computer science from the University of Denver.
Rajesh Nair is co-founder and CTO of Tegile Systems. Nair brings over 19 years of engineering and product development experience to Tegile. Rajesh leads technology and product development of Tegile’s flash storage portfolio. Prior to Tegile, Nair was CTO and Vice President of Engineering at Perfigo, a leading network admission control solutions company that was acquired by Cisco Systems (NASDAQ: CSCO). Post acquisition he continued to lead the development of Cisco’s NAC Appliance products. Prior to Perfigo, Rajesh held senior management positions in engineering at Brience and Sun Microsystems.
As Chief Financial Officer of Tegile Systems, Michael Morgan brings more than 25 years of experience in managing all aspects of finance and administration for private and publicly held technology companies, building companies from startup through IPO and leading M&A transactions on both the buy and the sell side. Before joining Tegile Systems, Michael served as CFO of cloud storage company Panzura, where he led the company through rapid growth and managed their last fundraising round at 3x the valuation of the prior round. Recent experience includes serving as CFO of Model N (NYSE: MODN), Skybox Security, and BackWeb Technologies (Nasdaq: BWEB). Michael was also previously CFO of Talarian Corp., where he orchestrated their successful IPO and led their acquisition by Tibco (Nasdaq: TIBX). Prior to Talarian, Michael was CFO and board member at Enlighten Software Solutions, where he managed their successful IPO and secondary offering. Michael spent the first six years of his career gaining financial and operations consulting experience as a manager with KPMG Peat Marwick, LLP. He is a CPA and holds a BS from San Jose State University.
As Chief Marketing Officer, Narayan Venkat brings more than 20 years of marketing and product management experience to Tegile Systems. In this role, Venkat leads the overall marketing organization that includes product marketing, product management, corporate communications, channel marketing and demand generation. Before joining Tegile, Narayan served as Vice President of products and marketing for Violin Memory. Prior to Violin, he was Vice President of the cloud infrastructure business unit at VMware, Earlier leadership experience include senior marketing roles at LSI Corporation’s Engenio Storage Group, OnStor, NetApp (NASDAQ: NTAP) and Intel (NASDAQ: INTC). Venkat received his Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering from Utah State University and his M.B.A. from the Booth School of Business at The University of Chicago.
As Tegile’s Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales, David Bangs leads global sales and field operations. Bangs career in data storage spans 22 years and is highlighted by his leadership role at LeftHand Networks. David served as Vice President of Sales, taking the iSCSI SAN software leader from beta shipment to more than 3,000 production customers and over 10,000 systems sold. His efforts resulted in 24 consecutive quarters of growth, over $100M in annualized sales and positioning in Gartner’s Cool Vendor and Magic Quadrant, prior to its acquisition by HP in 2008. Earlier roles include Vice President of Sales at Fusion I/O, Quantum, and NexGen Storage. Bangs received a B.A. in business from London South Bank University.
As Vice President of Customer Support, Pat Petroskey is accountable for the vision, strategy and execution of Tegile’s customer experience. Pat comes to Tegile with over 18 years of global customer service and support organization experience. She served as Sr. Director of global systems technology support at Oracle (NYSE: ORCL) and Sun Microsystems. Pat’s earlier companies include management roles at StorageTek and SGI. She holds a B.A. in business management from Madonna University.
